Walking On Clear Water

' Walking on clear water' is an exhibition about memories, reality, delusions, and time.

July 1 - July 31 Strong Rope, Red Hook, Brooklyn, NY.

The duality of social structures and polarized symbols of power overlap and direct our daily landscape. With autonomy influenced by the system, individuals watch the events unfold, often nearby from an already "withering flower garden."

The process starts with a vision, photograph, or a collage of elements such as nature, flowers, and trees. These forms assemble visual allegories and contribute to developing a composition of balance and depth. It invites us to watch from the foreground, reflect on life sequences, and consider whether some aspects of our lives are predetermined or simply our own.

This exhibition gathers many of my line work pieces, from small ink drawings to large charcoals. I've always gravitated towards line gestures and find it liberating to express concepts through larger formats. Composing smaller pieces is a spiritual practice, rendering appreciation for the beauty of creation.

Observing and artistically interpreting nature is soul restorative.
